Document Extractors

You can create document extractors from prebuilt extractors or define custom extractors in UpBrains AI Portal, test them and assign them to your inbox. Once assigned/deployed, you can send a test message with attachments to ensure it’s working.

How to define and assign a document extractor to your account?

First, create an extractor through Document Skills in UpBrains Portal. Find details on how create extractors here.

How to assign a document extractor to your Front account?

Assign your created extractors for a Front inbox here. Select the desired file format to be processed, and the output destination (one of “Insert as comment”, “Save into DB”, or save in Google Drive)

How to assign a document extractor to your Zendesk account?

Assign your created extractors for a Zendesk group here. Select the desired file format to be processed, and the output destination (one of “Insert as comment”, “Save into DB”, or save in Google Drive)

Send a message to create a new conversation or new ticket with the right attachment file to your Front inbox/Zendesk group.

Within 30 seconds, UpBrains AI will deliver the extraction result in your chosen output method (e.g., inserts as a comment).

How to view and review extracted document results in UpBrains AI Copilot?

After selecting the output destination as Show in Plugin, send an email (Front) or add a new public comment (Zendesk) with the right attachment file in your Front inbox or selected Zendesk group.

Go to UpBrains AI Copilot, and click on Read Attachments tab. The extracted results should be shown within 1 minute (move back and forth between conversations if the results have not arrived so it becomes refreshed).
