Is there a free trial period?
Yes, we have a 7-Day trial period with allocated credits to try any services of interest. Please contact us if you have custom requirements for your trial period.
How can we get started with UpBrains AI?
UpBrains AI products are available through our integrations in Front App, Zendesk, and Zapier. Our APIs can also be directly integrated into your products. Please subscribe for a free trial to get started, and contact us if you have any questions or need any help.
How do you handle subscriptions and payments?
Subscriptions and payments are handled securely through Stripe.com.
Do you have product demos?
Yes, we offer in-person demos. Please use Book a Demo link on top of this page or on the main homepage to book a demo time for a virtual, in-person demo. Please ensure to mention the products and/or AI Skilss you are interested in to be demoed.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription anytime online or by contacting us during the trial period or anytime later. The cancellation is effective immediately. If cancelig after the trial period, due to credit quota allocated to each billing cycle, there is no refund for the subscription fee paid for the current billing cycle, and your account will be charged for any excess transactions at the cancellation time.
What are tokens, and how many words are 1K (1000) tokens?
Tokens are word pieces processed by an AI model. 1000 tokens is roughly ~750 words. For reference, on average, there are 500+ words per page, depending on the font size and spacing.
How credits in our subscriptions are used?
We have described how many credits are consumed per 1K token or per page processed in the Compare Plans tables in the pricing pages for Plugins and AI Skills. Please review them for details.
Is there a limit on the credits during trial period?
Yes. Your account gets credits allocated equal to 1 seat in your subscription tier for the free-trial period. Please contact us if you reach credit usage limit and need more credits.
Is there a file size, page size or page dimension limit for Xtract?
Yes. Files with sizes smaller than 5KB or larger than 20MB will not be processed. There is a 10-page limit for PDF documents (by default). PDF pages larger than A3 size (17 inch by 17 inch), and images with pixel dimensions of 10,000 by 10,0000 will not be processed. If you have other needs, please contact us for custom configurations.
Can I set how many and which pages of a file or attachment to be processed by Xtract?
Yes. You can configure the number of pages that are processed from each attachment by each Xtract service or AI Skill in the configuration page.
Can we control file types or classes that are processed by Document AI skills
Yes. You can limit file types that are processed (PDF vs image, or both), or use Xtract Smart Routers for restrictions on document classes that should be processed. For example, you can configure Xtract Smart Routers to send invoices to Prebuilt, and if the document is a bank statements to process it by Xtract AnyDoc, otherwise process the document by Xtract OCR (considering your desired page limitations).
Give you are using OpenAI, is my data used for training or improvement of AI models?
No. Your data is neither used by us or by OpenAI for training or improvement of AI models. In particular, as per OpenAI API data usage policy, ‘OpenAI will not use data submitted by customers via our API to train or improve our models, unless you explicitly decide to share your data with us for this purpose.’ Also, the result of processing your data, when stored in UpBrains AI cloud environment, it is encrypted at rest and secured at transit using industry stanadrd methodologies.
